With the first round of the Homewrap series starting at OCR Raceway on the 20th March 2009 with a magnificent week of no rain, the track was bumpy but ready for the 22 drivers to tackle. Obmit - driving his MBX5r RB powered buggy, running Infinity tyres hit the podium (3rd overall Pro) for the first time. Driving with his head and not his trigger finger - outclassing lots of other drivers and coming third in two of the round heats. Well done Tim.

Last friday night saw the 2nd of the warmup races before the season commences, This opportunity was well needed as Redback was breaking in his new MBX6 and The Judge was testing his new smart diffs for the Losi, Meanwhile Obmit was having an awesome night with his MBX5R jostling with the front runners in many of his races.
